Parents, be on the lookout for information coming home next week related to an exciting field experience opportunity. We will be traveling to Jamestown, Va to "Think Like Historians and Archaeologists." Students will have an opportunity to explore the historic Jamestown settlement and visit the reenactment site.
The cost of the field experience is $24, chaperone interest forms were sent home on Thursday, November 8th. Permission slips will go home on Tuesday, November 13th. All permission slips and payments are due no later than Thursday, November 29th. Please contact your child's teacher if you have questions or need financial assistance. FYI: Permission slips and $24 fee are due by Wednesday, Nov. 21, for our upcoming Jamestown field work. Many parents have inquired about joining us at the historic sites. Please understand that we have booked tours for our groups based on the numbers that the sites and facilities will accommodate. For that reason we must limit parent participation to the allotted five chaperones per class. Parents may not drive to Jamestown and join our group. Lost and Found at Old Donation School is overflowing with items. Please encourage your child to look through items during lunch. ODS will donate all unclaimed items to charity on November 21st.
